If you have a Motorola V400, old or newer(mine's over 2 yrs. old), could you Please help me out?

My V400 has a blank display and I need to copy my Phonebook to the SIM.
It's a simple menu option in the Phonebook menu, but I can't Navigate to it and complete the process without seeing my screen! If you have a V400, can you trace the steps to the Copy To SIM command, and list the buttons to press, in order, so that I can transfer my Phonebook to my new phone?
    Thank you.

Re: Does ANYONE still own a V400?

First thing you might want to do is to back your phone book.

Download motorola mobile phone tools, install it until setup finishes.

connected your usb to phone , your computer hardware will find your v400
and look for the driver. Point it to motorola mobile phone tools in programs directory and let it install the driver.

After when mobile phone tools launch, select phone book, it will import contacts automatically in the mobile phone tool window.
choose backup/restore option to back up your phone book .

It doesnt matter you dont see the display on the screen as long you have the power in your keypad, you will will allow you to back up.

then just borrow the any motoroala v series phone and import contact to your sim same method as you did the back up.

    you are done!
    good luck
