I was soaking some dishes and knocked i670 into the bottom of the sink about a month ago. It was there a few hours before I noticed. My phone was only 3 days old when I did it!
Now when I plug it in or insert the battery it just continually vibrates and shows a white screen.
Any chance for it's survival?
BTW, my husbands new i850 went into "flashstrap" mode the other day and I read the "fix" in the forums & just fixed it!! Thank you for that thread!

take out the battery and let it sit out for a few days, then buy a new one if that doesn't work, if it just touched water for a few seconds it would be a whole new playing field

The thing sat in the sink for several hours. The water detector in the phone voids the warranty. There is little likelihood this thing is going to be brought back to life.Last edited by wirelessfan; 02-28-2007 at 09:11 AM.
