asking for install disk for slvr?

hey so im trying to put the mototunes onto my slvr l7 that has itunes on it, and im following the directions at Modding the Motorola Slvr L7 | slvr mods | Slvr Software Upgrading - Adding iTunes
and when i hook up my slvr to my computer when the usb cord is set to data/fax it asks me to put in the cd that came with the phone, but my phone didnt come with one because i got it used on ebay..... the reason this is a problem is because without letting my computer recognize the phone, the moto mid manager that im supposed to use to update my phone, cant recognize the phone..... does anyone know where i can get the cd or bypass this or can you send me the files i need from the cd so i can continue?

Please make sure you have the correct p2k driver for your operatring system.
also to assign a correct com port.

P2k is desigend for Seem Editing and flashing....

Go to iTunes.com to download your software.

wait, what is Seem Editing? and Flashing? i thought that was what i was kind of doing becuase i had to hook it up in data/fax mode, then install/remove a program on the phone?

you dont need to get confused. If your phone is connected it will ask you to install the driver first for you phone modem. Once your phone is connected to pc you can use itunes software to upload songs.

make sure your slvr driver port doesnt have any conflict.

Some will get confused if you start recommending software meant for seem editing and flexing for a simple iTunes download.

okay i think i worded my question wrong. it only asks me to install the phone when the usb settings are set to data/fax, and the only reason i am doing that setting is so i can erase itunes and put the modded itunes on it.
when it is set to memory card it doesnt. it isnt just a simple itunes update becuase it needs to be set on data/fax so i can use the software that erases itunes and loads the hacked version. so yeah, i am still wondering where i can get a copy of the install cd.....because i dont have it.

And again you can get it from iTunes where i got mine from.

could you give me the link? i cant seem to find the updated itunes for my slvr l7 on their website nor when i have itunes open.

for simple itunes you are right, dont need to do seem edit for flash, but keep in mind current service providers have disable option not to use your own ringtones and disabled some itune functions ,, The simple solution is to unbrand firmware if you know how to do it or you can take it to a dealer, but you will void your warranty for the phone if you decided to unbrand or do any modd.

Tom you dont need to get confuse, this is very simple , please reply to let us know if your computer finds the phone and what file name its asking for then i can help you
