    I need a .3gp convertor so that I can put a movie on my phone but whenever I download one it is either limited or it puts an annoying watermark on the converted file. I need one that is completely free with no limitations or watermarks.

    a program called enc3gp gui works fine, it's free. some slovenian guy wrote it.
    only converts a few formats though, and it's painfully slow.

    I'm sorry to tell you that is an ideal thought, and i don't think there is such a good thing. Because i like movies, and i always want to convert the video to my ipod, and i encouter the problems like you said, i'm annoyed about this. For a long shot, i bought a Video Converter, cost less, and i can enjoy it anytime. Maybe you can try to buy one.
