I have an LG VX6000 and I was wondering if I could transfer it's SIM card (does it even have one?) to a Motorola RAZR with a TMobile logo on it. Also, the RAZR does not currently have a SIM card in it. Help would be very much appreciated.

I believe the LG VX6000 is a "CDMA" phone (Verizon). T-Mobile is a GSM carrier. The two technologies and networks are incompatible. You cannot use a CDMA phone on a GSM network.

CDMA is a network available in the USA and a few Asian countries. Only Verizon and Sprint are CDMA carriers in the United States.

GSM is used worldwide. T-Mobile and AT&T/Cingular are GSM carriers operating in the United States.

    Hope this information helps.

You are correct about a CDMA handset not being compatable with the GSM network, but to say Verizon and Sprint are the only CDMA carriers is not entirely true...we also have Metro PCS, ALLTEL, US CELLULAR, CRICKET, Q-WEST, Virgin Mobile, Amp'd just to name a few....

As far as other countries go...i'm not even going to list all the CDMA carriers in Canada, Mexico, central and south America.

There are other GSM carriers in the US as well but i think the OP gets the idea.

Meant to say "nationwide" carriers. Sorry.
