Though generic it might be nowadays, I have a Motorola RAZR v3.

Let me make a note that this happens very rarely, maybe once every two months or so. Anyway, sometimes, when I'm leaving someone a voicemail, or changing my own, or even sometimes interrupting a conversation with someone, I get some very loud, short bursts of static. Within those bursts of static... I can hear what seems to be other people's conversations... or sometimes it seems that I'm hearing a television commercial or something to that tune. Even more rarely, I'll be midconversation with someone, the static will burst once, block off my conversation with the person I was talking to, and then seems to open up this line for a few seconds and will allow me to hear a very distorted portion of a conversation between two people for around 5-10 second intervals. When I speak, they cannot hear me, or at least show no reaction to my speaking. It cuts off my conversation with the other person, until another burst of static returns me to whomever I was speaking.

Now I guess what I'm asking is, has this happened to anyone else before and can anyone give me an explanation to what the hell is goiing on?

It's just so bizzarre... Almost conspiracy worthy :P
