I've been shopping for a quad-band GSM and have found a couple of (apparently reputable) companies that sell unlocked, factory-refurbished phones. Can anyone tell me whether a factory refurbished Moto is reset to its original specs for that handset (meaning the original carrier's markings and firmware), "generic Motorola" (no blocking or carrier-specific firmware such as splash screens, etc.) or some combination of the two, or is there no rhyme or reason?
