So my girlfriend decided that her Motorola SLVR L2 needed a milk bath last Friday morning...
I've got the phone working again, for the most part. Screen is up and running, can pull files using p2k commander, could probably even make calls, but only "emergency calls" because it will not recognize any SIM cards. Can't get it to connect to MPT, have tried many different drivers. All she really wants off the phone is the contacts because she saved them on the phone to use Ringer IDs. I've run out of ideas on this and would really appreciate some help.
And for all those who have dropped a phone into a liquid... your best friend is di-electric (non-conductive) contact cleaner
oh and phone is locked to Cingular. Its a pre-paid go-phone if that makes a difference, but all the pre-paids and contract phones seem to use the same subsidiary lock as far as I can tell.
