Hopefully some one might have seen this issue and is able to provide some insight into it.
I have a Motorola V3 from T-mobile (locked) and I am using the $5.99 basic internet plan. I have a Java application that makes HTTP calls but it won't work. If I use a different sim-chip (that has the all-internet-access plan which is way more expensive), the HTTP calls will work fine.
Using the $5.99 internet plan, I can use the phone's regular internet browser without a problem. Does T-mobile "disable" some types of HTTP calls from a Java application?
Unlocking the phone is not an option for me.
Thanks.
