I just bought a T-Mobile Motorola PEBL U6 off of ebay, which was unlocked and I am now using it with my Cingular/AT&T plan.

I like the phone all-in-all, but I have a few qualms and I need a little bit of help with some issues.

I get very poor to no reception in some areas, areas that I never really had trouble with before. For example, in a mall, and my basement. I completely lost signal in both of these areas and got no reception. I found this odd because I never had the problem with my old phone, an LG CU400.

Is there anything I can do to improve reception in these areas?

My next problem is my Internet and MMS on the phone, I understand I need to change the setup somehow, but I am not cellphone software savvy, and would like to set these up and possibly 'un-brand' the phone, taking all the T-Mobile things out.

PLEASE, IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP ME, I AM IN DESPERATE NEED!!!!

    Re: PEBL U6 question

Sounds like you could use a firmware upgrade.
Call your provider, I think they might can do it over the phone.
As far as the internet & MMS, your provider needs to transfer the services ovet to the new phone.

Will they charge me? and if so, about how much should I expect to shell out?

Also, they will be willing to help me out even if I am using an unlocked phone from a market competitor?
