Hi, I'm a newbie here. So, here it goes..
I have a motorizr z6tv.. before i had a lg vx8000. When i had that phone, i made my own ringtones and i sent them through picture message.
I tried to do this again for my new phone. I did the same thing.. When the email went through, the wav played, but i could only save it as a sound, not as a ringtone. The other time i sent a mp3 through, nothing showed up.
Is there a way i can go to a verizon store so they can transfer my ringtones to my new phone?
Or is there another way to do this, or i'm somehow doing it wrong?
Thanks.

Re: Ringtones
I'm pretty sure verizon (and most other major carriers) have caught on to this and stopped people from doing it. It sucks, I know, but carriers want you to spend money on their ringtones. The best way to do it is to buy yourself a data cable and go directly from the pc to phone, I can pretty much garauntee that the Verizon store won't do it.

Re: Ringtones
Yeah...Moto sucks for that. It's not Verizon that is blocking this, but the software on the phone itself.
You can still do this with most (not all) LG phones.
You could try moto tools...though the software will cost you.
