RIZR Z3 Won't sync

When I plug it in to the computer, I can see all of my files. When I drag and drop and delete things, I can see that too. However, when I unplug the phone and try to look at the files, it is as if I made no changes. The things I added are not there and the things I deleted are still there. Help?

I would try to do a master reset on it and see if that helps. It helps on my husband's RAZR.
