Hi I have been a big fan of lg phones. Still to this day the lg 8000 was and is my favorite. I than purchased the lg 8600 which I love and gave to my son and did the envy. I actually just switched resently with my son as he had my old 8600. My wife is going to upgrade to the new purple Motorola MOTO W755and I was thinking also of upgrading to the black one. I was wondering does anyone have the Motorola MOTO W755? If so how do you like it. I have been looking for any reviews on the phone but I can not find one. Don't know if it is better than my lg 8600. Thanks again.
Eric

Re: How Is The New Motorola MOTO W755
Hi Ellen just received mine and my wifes(the purple one of course) today. So far so good. I just love lg phones so was a little weary upgrading. I upgraded from lg 8600 but this phone so far for price and the features is great. I did upgrade to the envy which was great but I didn't need all the features so I gave to my son and went back to the 8600. This Moto W755 has all I need. Music, Camera, Bluetooth, and of course talking. Also looks great. I am going to use it for a week and so and post on here. Thanks for the post.

Re: How Is The New Motorola MOTO W755
I just got the new Motorola w755 today. Although I have only had it a few hours, I already absolutely love this phone. I got the sleek black one, and it is amazing. The touch sensory pads on the front are great. It has good reception, and the camera and video camera have good resolution as well. One of my favorite things about it is the picture frames you can put on your pictures. The Display themes are wonderful as well. Verizon has done a fantastic job designing this phone. It is made of metal so it is quite durable, but is conveniently light weight, thin, and small as well. This phone would be good for a person who likes to text a lot. It has somewhat big numbers, so it makes it fast and easy to text. The sound reception for music is very good too.I would definently recommend this phone to anybody!

Re: How Is The New Motorola MOTO W755
I have had this phone for almost3 weeks. I have transfered many ringtones and pictures to it and have no noticeable lag with it. The reception is comparable to my old e815 and to my husbands lg8300. It is a very solid feeling phone yet is lightweight. The only complaint I have is the battery life seems a little lacking. Overall to me it a great little phone for those who want a quality phone without a huge pricetag.

Re: How Is The New Motorola MOTO W755
Well my wife and I have had ours for about a week and however I'm not pleased. The phone it's self is great I think. But Verizon has not gotten the software completed for the phone yet. There are several get it now downloads that don't work as of yet. Back up Asst. One whole menu of extra's doesn't work. I had accuweather on my old phone, it dosen't work.
I think the software is coming but when. Why would they put a phone on the market that the software isn't ready for. I'm ready getting tired of problems with Verizon. Also, You can't download ringtones to this phone easily with Verizon.

Re: How Is The New Motorola MOTO W755
I have had the w755 for three weeks and found something out I did not know. I joined verizon three weeks ago as well and they will not allow you to do ANYTHING on this phone. I cannot move files via bluetooth and I cannot use moto phone tools 5 to upload any music or images. They have blocked that all out. Now... Besides being very upset at the fact they expect me to re-purchase songs just from their vcast bull****, Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? People keep talking about their entire music library and stuff. Say wha? You paying on Vcast? Please help me out. Is there a trick?

Re: How Is The New Motorola MOTO W755
welcome to verizon, hah
here are some things you describe that you can get around, like getting files to the phone. The phone spports a microSD memory card, which you can put files on and play/look at through the phone.

Re: How Is The New Motorola MOTO W755
I have had the phone about 3 weeks and I have just two issues with it. One is it seems impossible to find a driver for the usb cable. And two, the micro sd card goes in just about the worst possible place which is under the battery, so it is very inconvenient to take out. But other than that I love it. Got the purple one for both me and my daughter.

Re: How Is The New Motorola MOTO W755
I use Windows Media Player 11 (WMP) / Windows XP Pro SP2.
I have a Motorola W755 from Verizon.
This is what worked for me:
1. Plug the phone into the PC with a USB cable ( I use the sync cable from my HP camera.), Open Windows Media Player.
2. On the Phone: Press Menu, Press 5 (for media center), Press 1 (music and Tones), Press 6 (Sync Music).
3. Wait a few seconds while the computer recognizes the phone. You may see a popup window asking what you want to do. ex: sync mobile device, open to view files, do nothing etc.
4. If you do not have any songs in your sync list in WMP, nothing will sync. If you need to add songs to the list, click on "Sync" button in WMP (top right). You will see your library in the main part of the screen. On the right side you will see a bar that says "Drag Items here to create a list to sync to V Cast Mobile phone Internal memory."
5. simply click and drag the song names to the list area Then click the "Start Sync" button at the bottom.
If anyone knows how set a song from the phone's library as a ring tone, please let me know. I have not figured this out yet. If this question has been posted, please accept my apologies. I am new to the forum, if it is already answered in another thread, I will find it.

Re: How Is The New Motorola MOTO W755
how did you transfer ringtones to the W755? I have MP3s that I was able to email to myself on my current phone and use as ringtones, but it looks like Verizon disabled that.

Re: How Is The New Motorola MOTO W755
I have had the W755 for a month and have not had any problems with it..... also keep in mind I use mine for a phone not texting emailing photos, anything like that. I have also disabled the EV-DO and that did seem to add some time to my battery.
