Hey guys, i'm brand new to this forum and looking for some serious help. I have a Rizer Z3 and had it for a while. I've had it long enough to finally see the plastic button's glue detaching from the phone itself. But anyway, my SMS had been working perfectly until recently. Everytime I attempt to reply to a text message and/or compose a new message it says "Please Wait..." and after 15 seconds proceeds to display "Please try again." As many times as I try to create a message it says the same thing. This had never happened before and i've looked everywhere for help. I've tried removing the battery, SIM card, and even turning it on and off. I can receive texts but can never reply back. Anyone have the same problem or perhaps have a solution?

Re: Motorola Rizer Z3 SMS Help
Could someone help me out or at least provide some sort of advice on what I should do?

Re: Motorola Rizer Z3 SMS Help
id suggest try saving the message as a draft so you dont loose it firstly.
secondly, make sure that you have good reception.
thirdly, make sure you are on the highspeed (EVDO) network (as opposed to 1x network), and not roaming (update your PRL if you are roaming where you should not be), etc...
some things may be screwy with the MMS/SMS servers for your network as well. It happened to me on RR where the DNS server went down and I could not get to any websites without knowing the IP addresses of them. I've had other times where servers themselves were down and I just couldnt connect and had to "try again later"
What provider are you with by the way?

Re: Motorola Rizer Z3 SMS Help
thats odd. T-Mobile must do things different than Verizon does then. Cause I never have to connect to the network just to type a message.
that part is equivalent to typing an email in my client, therefore no being online. seems as thought T-Mobile must be using a web based SMS/MMS application and your phone cant get a connection to it properly.
I'll have to pass this on up to a T-Mobile user though. You may want to consider posting about this in T-Mobile forum if you haven't already though.
