I did a search for the answer to my questions, but I'm not sure I know enough to do an efficient one.

I have a v557 that I'm happy with except the volume is much weaker than my wife's v557. Is there an easy way to chnge the handset volume (not ring loudness)? If not, I'd like to just get a new one and move my existing setting and phonebook to the new phone? Can I do that?

I already have MPT and the USB cable and I know how to remove the SIMM card.
