Need help with email features on motorola (the hint)

just got the new hint and i wanted to check my email on it.. well when i go to the email icon thats already on there it gives me 3 options.. 1.gmail.....2.AOL mail..... 3. other...........Now i only use windowslive and would like to know how to set up that email on the phone.. when i click the third option, other, it asks me all kinds of questions like incoming and outgoing ports..the first thing that happens when i click other is it gives me two options 1.other POP.. and 2.other IMAP and idk what those are... so thanks for helping

hi you can configure your phone for downloading hotmail messages.
i recomend you to do the following.
add a pop3 account and fill the required information following this table

POP server: pop3.live.com (Port 995)
¿POP SSL requered? yes
user name: your Windows Live ID
Password: your hotmail password
SMTP server: smtp.live.com (Port 25)
¿authentication required? yes
¿TLS/SSL required? yes

you can add like this mosto of the web based mails

by the way after configuring this you may notice that when receiving a mail this phoe will not alert you and i guess this is a bug...

i have tried those steps as well and i cant get on an email it just says failed
