Motorola Krzr K1 w/ Phone Tools

Hello, I can't get my Motorola Phone Tools to connect to my Krzr. I've gotten it before but now It says unsupported phone. I'm running version 5 of phone tools.

Maybe you have a dirty file/driver. Have a look around the modems tab at phone and modem options. Is there a Motorola USB modem showing; if so maybe try deleting that / reboot for clearing out the cobwebs and when you connect the phone a new USB connection will be configured. Also check the phone settings.

I've tried that. I have uninstalled the phone driver, reinstalled it... everything. I can charge my phone, but it just won't connect to MPT.



BTW: What settings in the phone do i need to look at specifically?

You're using a USB connection right? Is your phone USB connection setup to use Modem, Data or ?

The Motorola USB Modem is showing at the modem tab? is there a COM port assigned? Can you Query the modem?

USB yes.. It's setup to use Data...

All the tools you need are on the Windos box.

Maybe learning Windos is a good starting point.
