W755 freezes sometimes

I have had 2 W755's with the same problem - sometimes when a call is received, the phone freezes and reboots. My caller then either hangs up or leaves a voice mail. Very annoying and not acceptable! Rather than exchange it with Verizon again for the same model, I am thinking of trying to switch to LG. However I really like my W755 except for the freeze-up issue. Does anyone else have this problem?

I have already called Verizon and they say it's the phone, and rather than exchange it again I could probably get another brand but I would rather not, based on the choices of similar models I've seen such as LG VX8360.

What software version do you have on your W755? My wife has that model, and to my knowledge, she has not had the freeze-up problem. The software version on hers is COOL01_01.10.00R.
