Re: Motorola KRAVE ZN4, questions!
"If you buy a factory USB cable (not aftermarket) and download a motrola driver and a program called P2kCommander and then you can access my ringers on the phone."
-That's really cool and sounds a lot easier, I would prefer this method to the picture messaging one. I'll have to get a a cable and try it out, I always used to use a cable and connect via BitPim program and was able to access and control everything on my VX8000, VX9800 and VX9400 with it, it was awesome, especially the easy way to transfer ringtones. I will definitely have to check this out, thanks for letting everyone know! And thank you so much for enlightening me on the deleting call history! That's so cool, how did you ever find that out? It wasn't in the manual I don't think? Its like a hidden feature lol, I never would've thought of that

I'm not allowed to post links yet so I'll have to tell you where to go.
howardforums(dot)com and search for;
Motorola Krave ZN4 Hacking thread
that is the actual name of the thread, read through the entire thread before you start using the tips because not everything still works with the new S/W update.
Good luck

Re: Motorola KRAVE ZN4, questions!
Hey thanks for your help...someone out there, might have been you said something about the size of the file makes he difference when making and/or sending a ringtone to the Krave...that was the info I needed. I have some info of my own. I figured out how to make my own ringtones from any song at all, any type of sound file. There's a great website called Myxer.com. Downloaded a ton of ringtones, for free, make my own etc. never a problem...until I bought the Krave and went with Verizon...very limited ringtones for Verizon...but the website has a "make your own ringtone" section and your can upload any song and/or sound, make the ringtone and send it back to your phone and then save it as a ringtone. Trick is you have to make sure it's not too big. The website actually sizes it for you. With my sprint phone I never had to do that... My eureka moment was the info about the size. Hope this helps anyone out there trying to figure this out....and thanks to all for your info and reply. All the info I received helped me figure it out.

Yey! Thanks for this. Saves my time for asking questions. I'm still curious about the two screens though. Does anyone here knows now why it says that?

Re: Motorola KRAVE ZN4, questions!
I just wanted to say thanks for the info in this thread I've had my Krave for a little more than a month now, and I like the phone, but I've been trying to figure out how I can use my own ringtones without going through Verizon's ridiculous programs.

Re: Motorola KRAVE ZN4, questions!
Does anybody know what the maximum size or duration the sound file can be for this phone to recognize it as a ringtone?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Motorola KRAVE ZN4, questions!
I heard that it's battery back-up time very less and talking about its performance, it hangs often, Is that true?
