hi,
i had sucess changing the ringtone to a .mp3 with P2K, and am able to follow where to go to change it.
So i thought i'd change the Alarm Clock to a .mp3 too. doh. lol
i edited the ac_timer.dat and as_timer.dat with notepad
they look like this

i tried to edit the statement back, but still no luck... so now i can't open my alarm clock as normal.

Hmmmm, not so sure you should have edited the Alarm Clock sound. You edited the file using Notepad? Things like that are usually done with a seem editor. Personally, I have never used one, but you might find some useful info at Mark Venture's website here:

seem edits seems like its over my head lol
so i wonder if i can't replace my .dat files with another persons,
i may need to flash?
i read on another site, flash then options are different, like: .mp3 for ringtone and alarms is availible as a normal menu item and not have to change via p2k
but ive never done a boot loader, flash the cell, so not sure how to go about doing that.

Does anyone know, is there a way i can get the two mention .dat files to replace the ones i have now, via p2k to make it original again?
