    I have the Motorola Phone Tools software (Version 4) I got it a while back and I have no clue on how to use it. I was wondering if someone could tell me how to get ring tones iv download from my computer and transfer them on to my phone with the usb cord

    Iv installed the software,hooked the usb cord in the phone........and I get lost from there. Can anyone help me Please!!

    Well, first try running the live update on the program, make sure that it's up to date.

    Instructions for Windows XP
    Then, with the phone connected, on your computer.
    Right click on My Computer (from your desktop) and go to Properties.
    In this windows, click on the tab "Hardware" then click on the Device Manager
    Look in that window for any thing with a yellow "?" question mark next to it.
    It should say something like "Unknown Device"
    Delete that, then unplug the phone from the computer.
    Start Motorola Phone Tools and then follow the onscreen prompts.
    Should be good from there.

    Mobile phone tools has a really good feature where you can edit any mp3's to your length and your taste.
    You don't need to purchase any ringtones if you have a bunch of MP3's and Mobile Phone Tools. You just have to learn how to use it.
