My friend just got a motorola i335 from boost mobile (and has no computer at the moment, so i am posting for him).

everytime he tries to reply to a text message, it copies the original message that he received and it sends that along with his new message... making the text twice as long as he intended and also annoying the crap out of the people receiving messages from him.

when i get text replies from him, they look like this:

blah blah blah his reply to me
    ----------------------------
blah blah blah my original message

the line dashes are there separating the messages too.

can this be turned off or something?

(edited to add type of phone... thought it would be helpful)

    Menu / Messaging / Settings /
There should be something in there about replying with original message.
It's in the message box settings for sure.
