My friend just got a motorola i335 from boost mobile (and has no computer at the moment, so i am posting for him).
everytime he tries to reply to a text message, it copies the original message that he received and it sends that along with his new message... making the text twice as long as he intended and also annoying the crap out of the people receiving messages from him.
when i get text replies from him, they look like this:
blah blah blah his reply to me
----------------------------
blah blah blah my original message
the line dashes are there separating the messages too.
can this be turned off or something?
(edited to add type of phone... thought it would be helpful)

if you go to menu, messages then settings
or in other cases menu settings messages there may be a setting to turn that off
the setting might be called foward old message or original message etc
