    The Motorla XT720 has been officially announced as the MOTOROI, after being seen a while back ago. This would be South Korea's first Android smartphone and is geared more to the anyone who "is looking for the ultimate smartphone experience".

    The Motorola XT720 MOTOROI will be available beginning in February via SKT . The smartphone runs on Android 2.0 and features the following:

    * 3.7 inch WVGA (480 x 854 pixels) multi-touch display
    * Wi-Fi
    * GPS
    * Google Maps
    * Terrestrial DMB
    * 3.5mm headset jack
    * HDMI
    * 8MP camera with 720p HD video recording
    * 8GB of internal memory
    * MicroSD card support

    Can you provide more details. It seems to have an odd shape. Is it a slider? Does it have QWERTY or is it full touch?

    it is not a slider, but is a full touchscreen phone. Since it's full touchscreen, no QWERTY keypad is attached to this handset.

    This is a great phone. I just got one sent to me as a gift from Korea.

    The shape is such that it resembles a camera when you taking pictures (8mp camera), this is the reason for the little bump (or tumour as some people are calling it)

    Its very responsive without noticeable lag. The screen is very brilliant with 65 million colours. I even got mine with digital TV on it which i dont think is available in USA, but some European countries have this. Poor Australia does not at present.

    Another thing I really like, and really simple add-on is the inclusion of an digital FM radio, which doesnt use data from the service provider. simple = best

    Unfortunatley the phone i recieved was locked to a Korean provider and I am unable to use my Australian SIM card.

    If anyone knows how i can unlock this phone please let me know. Use TurboSIM?
