This might be pretty long but,
So, I purchased this phone back in November (W233 Renew) and I started using it's mp3 player about a month ago, but the earphones that came with it broke after a week.
I have been looking for a new pair of Earphones for a while now, so I go over to Fido (my provider) and the person there says that I should buy an adapter, that way I could use my 3.5mm earphones.
So I bought a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter (because someone at another store told me that's what I need) and only one earpiece works, so I figured it's a faulty adapter, because it only cost me 4$ and the guy was pretty far I figured I'd let it go.
So I go to this other store and I bought a pair of 2.5mm earphones and again, only one earpiece works, so this is starting to look weird to me, so I go to another store and try there a pair of 2.5mm earphones and only one earpiece works, the person at the store tells me it's probably the audio jack, so I go back to Fido and another guy there tells me that I need Original Motorola Earphones, after about 5 hours of searching on Sunday I found ones for 25$, but I didn't buy them and unfortunately I couldn't try them out to see if they works.
I was wondering if there was any way to use my 3.5mm earphones with my W233 Renew? I've got some pretty comfortable earphones at home which I have used beforehand (not with the W233) but unfortunately, 3.5mm.
