News: Motorola i1 coming to Latin America

We have already mentioned that the Motorola i1 will soon be coming to Boost Mobile and now we can add Latin America to the list. NII Holdings and Motorola will bring the handse t to countries of Mexico, Argentina, Brazil and Latin America. iDEN services will be offered through NII Holdings under the Nextel brand.

Update of the specs and features are: Android 1.5, 3.1 inch HVGA touchscreen display, Wi-Fi, Google Maps, Swype text input, Nextel Live, Opera Mini 5, Facebook access, MP3 player, 5MP camera with flash, and MicroSD card support.

Pricing and launch date have not been mentioned but it is expected to launch sometime within the next coming months.
