i1 unlock help !!!!!!!!

anyone know if it is possible to unlock a boost i1 for use with nextel? and take him to several places where unlocked phones and I can not say that! be true? it is not a cheap phone to let it lose asi.gracias for your responses.

Normally local phone technician should be able to unlock most of the phones, they will give you a fair estimate on how much should is cost... shop around or haggle to save some money... hope this helps.
