Cingular v3 on AT&T Go?

I recently found my old RAZR-V3, and wondered if I would be able to put an activated AT&T Go phone sim chip in it and use it. It was an old Cingular model, way back when, and is currently full of some milestones from when my children were babies, not to mention I simply love this phone. I know there are better ones out, and that there are the pre-paid AT&T ones, but I'd rather not drop a hundred bones on something that I could put some work into and use. Please, help me out!
