News: Motorola Defy now available in Germany

The Motorola Defy, a rugged IP67-certified Android handset that was announced yesterday, is now available in Germany via The Phone House with a starting price of €1 on contract (depending on terms and operator) and for €350 SIM-free.

The Motorola Defy for Germany will be available in two colors: black and ‘white on black’ and will come with features such as:

* Android 2.1 with Motoblur and Swype preinstalled
* 800 MHz processor
* 512 MB of RAM
* 3.7-inch WVGA (800×480) capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass
* 2 GB of onboard storage
* 5 MP camera with LED flash
* HSPA, Wi-Fi (with DLNA), Bluetooth, GPS
