i465 video to computer issue

I am not savvey by any means, for my b-day I got this phone motorola i465, it has video (great) but I can only send 5 second clips at a time to other cell users or it tells me "file too large" I would like to share some of my larger videos. I am guessing I have to transfer these some how to my personal computer so I can share them threw my e-mail. How do I accomplish this?
