    Sprint has officially announced the Motorola Titanium and will launch as expected this Sunday, July 24th. The Motorola Titanium is military spec 810G certified and will run on Android 2.1.

    The Motorola Titanium is shock, dust, low pressure, vibration, solar radiation and high and low temp resistant and comes if the form of a candybar type phone that has not only a QWERTY keyboard but a touchscreen as well.

    The Titanium is geared more to the professionals that work in the above conditions, therefor, the OS may not be a factor to them. Features of the Motorola Titanium include: a 3.1-inch HVGA (480×320) capacitive touchscreen, Wi-Fi, GPS, stereo Bluetooth, a microSD card slot (a 2 GB card comes preinstalled), an 1820 mAh battery, and a 5 MP camera. It supports Push-to-talk.

    Price of the Motorola Titanium on Sprint is $149.99. A new 2 year contract agreement is required.
