Motorola W375, screen went white, no text no graphics, just blank.

Hello.

I have a Motorola W375 from Net10. I've always done prepay. There is no longer any warranty on the phone.

This morning, I woke up to the sound that means someone has texted my phone. I opened it, and it was stuck in lantern mode (screen blank white, no text or images). I can't get it to change, can't get any text or graphics to appear, nothing. I can make a call, but can't see ANYTHING on the screen. Can't access menu, can't access phone book, nothing.

I've tried taking out the battery and the SIM card, and reinserting after a time. No change. Done this a few times. Turning on and off doesn't help either.

I've searched google for answers and can't find any. Oh, and Net10 is not going to be of any help whatsoever. They are dodgy even when your phones are still under warranty, hehe. Does anyone here have any possible answers that don't involve buying a new phone?

The ribbon cable that connects the screen to the main pcb is damaged or disconnected. The only way you're going to fix this is to get a new phone or take your existing phone apart and repair the cable. You could also take it to a cell phone repair person.
