Subsidy Password v365

Does anyone know what it mean when you get a prompt 'Enter Subsidy Password' on the Motorola v365? I'm guessing this phone is locked... anyways, I went online to try and pay to have it unlock but they were not able to unlock it. Any suggestions?

Yep, that means it is locked.

There are several vendors on this site that can get you the code.

I tried using this vendor (mobile-phone-unlock.com) and got robbed. They were not able to get me the code and said that they would refund my money but I haven't seen a dime! I've been told there are many sites like this pulling the unlock scam and taking people money.

That's unfortunate. The unlock vendors here are all reputable. Make sure they can actually get you an unlock code before sending payment though. Certain unlockers only unlock specific brands of phones.
