Moto X: Multiple bluetooth simultaneously

can the Moto X connect to multiple BT devices simultaneously?

I wish to have a "Trusted Bluetooth" device on me but I still wish the X to use BT in my vehicle. How can I do this?

Regrettably the device on me presents itself as a Phone Audio device - so this may make it unsuitable for my needs - but it it presented itself as a different device (Media Audio for instance) then could I have a connection the it and the vehicle BT simultaneously?
