Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the X Style to your computer via USB
- Drag the “Notification” bar down and connect the phone as a “Disk Drive” / “Media Sync (MTP)”
- In the AutoPlay window on the computer, double-click “Open folder to view files using Windows Explorer”
- Navigate to the “Media” folder on your phone
- Launch a second Explorer window and locate the desired audio files on your computer
- Copy the files and transfer them in the “Media” folder on the phone
- Once the transfer is done, click “Safely Remove hardware” in the system tray
- Safely eject the phone storage disconnect the phone from the USB connector
Change the Phone’s Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Go to “Settings”
- Tap “Sound” under “Device”
- Under “Call Ringtone & vibrate”, tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the ringtone you want to use and tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable / disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones cannot be assigned to contacts stored on the internal memory or the SIM card.
- Tap “Contacts” on the home screen
- Select the contact you want to add a custom ringtone to
- Tap “Edit” (icon shaped like a pencil)
- Tap “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Access “Settings”
- Under “Device”, tap “Sound & notification”
- Swipe to “Sound” and tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select the desired sound and tap “OK” to set it
