Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC:
- Connect the Moto G Turbo Edition to your computer via USB
- Swipe the “Notification” bar down and make sure the phone is connected as a “Media device (MTP)”
- Launch an Explorer window on the computer and locate the desired audio files on your PC
- Copy the files you want to use for ringtones & notifications
- Transfer the files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” / “Notifications” / “Alarms” folders in the “Media” directory
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via the system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB connector
Change the Phone Ringtone:
- Open the apps drawer
- Launch “Settings” and scroll to “Device”
- Tap “Sound”
- Under “Call Ringtone & Vibrate”, tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK” to confirm
- Optionally, you can enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones to contacts stored on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Launch “Contacts” and select the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Sound:
- Tap “Apps” on the home screen
- Go to “Settings”
- Scroll to “Device” and tap “Sound & notification”
- Under “Sound”, tap “Default Notification Sound”
- Select a notification sound and tap “OK” to confirm and set it
