Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer connected to the Internet, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, including contacts, with the Motorola phone.

  1. Connect the device to your computer via USB
  2. Open iTunes on the computer
  3. Go to “Info” and enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts
  4. Sign in to your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  5. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  6. Once the sync is done, switch to the Motorola phone and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  7. Allow the account to sync contacts with your Android device

Share iPhone Contacts From an iCloud Backup:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts have been previously backed up on your iCloud account, you can access the account on a computer connected to the Internet and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account and access “Contacts
  4. Select the contacts you want to share
  5. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard
  6. After the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of the steps below:
    Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    Connect the Motorola device to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: While the two methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Go to the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Launch the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
  3. Once the vCard is done, tap “Email” and create a new email
  4. Make sure the vCard is attached and send the email to your own address
  5. Switch to the Moto device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use to share your iPhone contacts. The app is available on iOS and Android, and uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other file types cross-platform, without requiring a computer.

  1. Visit the App Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the iPhone
  2. Go to the Play Store and install the same app on the Motorola device
  3. Open the app on both smartphones
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts
  5. Select the contacts you want to share and tap “Send
  6. Select the desired transfer method and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
