Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

  1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
  2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification shade
  3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
  4. Navigate to your audio files
  5. Copy the desired audio files from the PC and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folder
  6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

Change the General Ringtone:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Go to “Device” and tap “Sound & notification
  3. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK
  4. Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls

Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:

NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

  1. Launch “Contacts
  2. Tap and hold the desired contact
  3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK

Change the Notification Alert Sound:

  1. Open “Settings
  2. Access “Sound & Notification
  3. Tap “Default notification ringtone
  4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK” to confirm
