Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the computer
- Copy and transfer the desired files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folder
- Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Device”
- Tap “Sound & notification”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts located on the SIM card or the phone’s internal memory.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” >”menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “OK”
