Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folders
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Device” and tap “Sound & notification”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
- Optionally, enable or disable “Also vibrate for calls”
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You cannot set custom ringtones for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or the SIM card.
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact, then tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”
Change the Notification Alert Sound:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound & Notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the notification alert you want to assign
- Tap “OK”
