Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once the sync is done, sign in with the same account on the Android phone
- Set the account to sync contacts with the device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with your account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts
- Select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the vCard is downloaded, perform one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import its contents to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Once the process is done, compose an email containing the vCard attachment
- Send the attachment to your own address
- On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app on Android and iOS - you can use for sharing your iPhone contacts without requiring access to a computer.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
- Visit the Play Store and install the app on the Android device
- Open the app on both devices
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts to share and tap Send
- Select the desired transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
