Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:

NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android device.

  1. Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
  2. Launch iTunes on the computer
  3. In iTunes, click the iPhone and go to “Info’
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With” and select “Google Contacts” from the drop-down menu
  5. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  6. Click “Apply” to begin the sync
  7. Once the sync is done, sign in with the same account on the Android phone
  8. Set the account to sync contacts with the device

Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:

NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with your account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Launch the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Visit https://www.icloud.com/
  3. Sign in with your iCloud account
  4. Go to “Contacts”
  5. Select the contacts you want to share
  6. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  7. Once the vCard is downloaded, perform one of the steps below:
    • Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to “Google Contacts” or:
    • Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import its contents to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using My Contacts Backup:

NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
  3. Once the process is done, compose an email containing the vCard attachment
  4. Send the attachment to your own address
  5. On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard attachment
  6. Import the vCard to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using Send Anywhere:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app – on Android and iOS - you can use for sharing your iPhone contacts without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
  2. Visit the Play Store and install the app on the Android device
  3. Open the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts to share and tap “Send”
  6. Select the desired transfer method on one of the phones and follow the on-screen steps to complete the process
