Share iPhone Contacts via iTunes:
NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with Internet access, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account and then sync the account data including contacts, with the Android device.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Launch iTunes on the computer
- Click the iPhone and go to Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With and select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Sign in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply
- Once the sync is done, log in with the same account on the Android device
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in with the account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android phone.
- Open the Internet browser on the computer
- Visit https://www.icloud.com/
- Sign in with your iCloud account and go to Contacts
- Select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Once the vCard is done, perform one of the steps below:
- Open the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: Although the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone from the App Store
- Launch the app and tap Backup to create a vCard containing your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email ensuring the vCard is attached
- Send the attachment to your own email address
- On the Android phone, open the email and download the vCard
- Import the vCard to your phonebook via Contacts
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for contact transfer, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring computer access.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone from the App Store
- Install the same app on the Android phone via the Play Store
- Open the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desired contacts
- Tap Send and select a transfer method on one of the phones
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
