Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with a Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the computer via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer and click the iPhone
- Go to Info and enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an existing account
- Click Apply to begin the sync
- Once done, sign in with the same account on the Android phone
- Allow the account to sync contacts with the phone
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the same account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account and access Contacts
- Select the contacts you want to share
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- After the vCard is done, perform one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via Contacts
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer with Internet access, alternatively you can share you iPhone contacts using third-part yapps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS third-party app you can use to back up and share iPhone contacts via email.
- Install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone via the App Store
- Open the app and tap Backup to create a vCard of your iPhone contacts
- Compose an email and make sure the vCard is attached
- Send the vCard to your own email address
- On the Android device, open the email and download the vCard
- Use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use for contact transfer, available on Android and iOS. The app uses a peer-to-peer connection to share contacts and other file types, cross-platform, without requiring access to a computer.
- Install Send Anywhere on the iPhone via the App Store
- Install the same app on the Android device via the Play Store
- Launch the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Tap Send again and select a transfer method on one of the devices
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
