Share iPhone Contacts Using iTunes:
NOTE: You can use iTunes on a computer with Internet access to sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. Then you can sync the account data, and contacts, with the Android phone.
- Connect the iPhone to the PC via USB
- Open iTunes on the computer
- Click the iPhone and access Info
- Enable Sync Contacts With
- Select Google Contacts from the drop-down menu
- Log in with your Google account or click Configure and select an account
- Click Apply to start the sync
- Once done, log in with the same account on the Android phone and allow the account to sync contacts with the device
Share iPhone Contacts from iCloud:
NOTE: If your iPhone contacts are backed up on your iCloud account, you can log in with the same account on a computer with Internet access and export the contacts in a vCard file for use on the Android device.
- Launch the Internet browser on the PC
- Head down to https://www.icloud.com/
- Log in with your iCloud account
- Go to Contacts and select the desired contacts
- Click Settings > Export vCard
- Once done, follow one of the steps below:
- Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import it to Google Contacts or:
- Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB, copy the vCard to the phone and use Contacts to import it to your phonebook
Using My Contacts Backup:
NOTE: While the methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can share your iPhone contacts using third-party apps like My Contacts Backup, an iOS third-party app that can back up and share contacts via email.
- Go to the App Store and install My Contacts Backup on the iPhone
- Open the app and tap Backup
- Compose an email and ensure the vCard is attached
- Send the email to your own address and switch to the Android phone
- Open the email and download the vCard
- Use Contacts to import the vCard to your phonebook
Using Send Anywhere:
NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third-party app you can use on Android and iOS, to share your iPhone contacts without computer access.
- Install Send Anywhere eon the iPhone via the App Store
- Go to the Play Store and install the app on the Android device
- Launch the app on both phones
- On the iPhone, tap Send > Contacts
- Select the desire contacts and tap Send again
- Choose a transfer method on one of the phones and follow the prompts
