Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and PC
- On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification shade
- Launch the File Explorer on the PC
- Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folders
- Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Device”
- Tap “Sound & notification”
- Tap the desired ringtone
- Press “OK”
- Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the contact whose ringtone you want to change
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu”
- Tap “Set ringtone” and select a ringtone
- Press “OK”
Change Notification Alert Sounds:
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound & notification”
- Tap “Default notification ringtone”
- Select the desired notification ringtone and tap “OK”
