Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Establish a USB connection between the Android device and computer
- On the phone, enable “Media file MTP” at the prompt or from the Notification area
- Launch the File Explorer on the computer
- Navigate to the audio files on the PC
- Copy and transfer the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” folders
- Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
Change the General Ringtone:
- Swipe up on the home screen
- Launch “Settings”
- Go to “Sound”
- Tap “Phone ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.
- On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
- Launch “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact
- Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
- Tap “Save”
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Launch “Settings”
- Access “Sound”
- Tap “Default notification sound”
- Select the desired notification ringtone
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Open “Messages”
- Tap “Menu”
- Go to “Settings” > “Wireless alerts”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Enable or disable “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats”
