Transfer Audio Files from a PC:
- Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
- On the phone, enable “Media file MTP” when prompted or from the Notification area
- Open the File Explorer on the computer
- Locate the audio files on the PC and copy them
- Paste the desired files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and/or “Notifications” directories
- After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
Change the General Ringtone:
- On the home screen, swipe up from the bottom
- Open “Settings”
- Access “Sound” > “Phone ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone
Change the Ringtone of a Specific Contact:
NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts located on the SIM card or the device’s internal memory.
- Swipe up from the bottom on the home screen
- Open “Contacts”
- Tap and hold the desired contact and tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
- Select the desired ringtone and tap “Save”
Change Notification Ringtones:
- Open “Settings”
- Go to “Sound” > “Default notification sound”
- Select the desired notification ringtone
Manage Emergency Alerts:
- Launch “Messages”
- Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
- Go to “Wireless alerts” and tap “Menu”
- Tap “Settings”
- Turn “Allow alerts” “AMBER alerts” “Extreme threats” and “Severe threats” ON or OFF
