Has anyone used the camera yet? Is it worth it? How many pics can you fit on the phone and how good are they? Can those pics be transfered as the background picture and the screensavers?

My friend has the camera and from what I remember, it can hold about 48-50 pics. She got the camera on ebay for her cingular phone (which I think she had to flash to a 720i...but I'm not sure) for about 30 bucks... I would say that it is worth it if you don't buy at full price (70-80 bucks).... and yes the pics can be transferred

I heard it wasnt that clear and it drains down the battery real fast, but it might just be a rumor.

The camera is more of a novelty item. If you are a teeny bopper that likes taking snaps of all your little girly friends at the mall then this would be the item for you! Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere...like maybe a camera store! If you MUST have a camera on your phone, look at the models that have them built in like the Nokia 3650 or the Samsung V205.

The camera is well thought up, but with my phone the quality is extremely poor - though people are right in saying it's the sort of thing you could whip out in front of your mates to impress them all!
Not worth $100 tho

The camera isn't that good, actually it sux... I mean, the quality in any pic are totally bad... Don't buy it... it came with the phone for me, and I was so excited, but I started to take pictures and you can see that they are quite bad... I don't even use it anymore..

I didn't think it was possible to flash a t720 to a t720i as the t720i has greater internal memory for the pictures. Either way I heard the camera was pretty bad, not seen it in action. The Panasonic GD87 cam is good, as is the Sony Ericsson t616 and the Samsung V200.

my friend purchased the camera. thinking it was going to be great.it was not.it was one of the worst cameras ive seen and certainly not worth the price either.the refresh rate of the camera is appalling as if there is a quick movement the camera wont even pick it up!and also the time delay in taking the photo was very annoying.all in all......not very good at all.and yes the pictures can be used as backgrounds.
still.
