Hi, I'm probebly going to get the T720 CDMA in the next few weeks and I wanted to hear a few things from people who have it. I want to know if its a good phone, how is its software? Reception? Hows the battery life? With a data cable how good does it interface with the computer? How do the poly tones sound? I read in the phone specs its 16 poly but the company who is selling it say its 40 poly, witch one is right? Any other quirks the phone has.
    Thanks

Ok I found out that the phone is really 40 poly because the company orders it that way.

i have one on Verizon. it's my second replacement fone.

the newer ones are decent, but the older ones had quiet ringers, quiet earpieces at full volume.

alert ringers for text are customizeable, but dont use a full length song as the song wont stop, even after deleting the message. it plays until the song itself ends.

the screen's colors are washed out.

battery life is horrid. the extended life battery only lasts 2 days on standby. the longest i could talk on mine until the battery alert went off was 40 minutes. this is a brand new motorola battery, mind you.

reception is less than horrible. my v8160 had much better reception... the T720 doesnt work in half of the places my Vulcan did.

slow. buttons have a half second delay, and it takes a few days for the system to be ready to go when you turn the power on. very difficult to try and dial out or work the web functions with such slow response time.

other than that, it served its purpose poorly.
