I have a problem with my memory card to. I bought a new micro sd card and it won't recognize it in my phone or in my computer.

Just kidding! It works now... I had to update the OS so it would allow 4g cards

Can someone please thoroughly explain to me how can I reformat my SD car for my Blackberry Curve 8310?

Ok, thats goood.... but HOW did you figure how to format it?

I had the memory card issue when I first got my phone...a few years ago.

Took me a while to figure out the formatting.

Hey how did you fix it? I have the same problem
I mean my card was working but out of no where it stop working n wen i went to look it says cards need to be formatted, so when I click on format card, it says formatting failed?
What do I do?

i went to the media card tab under options and it says

Media card supoort: on
ecryption mode: none
mass storage mode support: on
auto enable mass storage mode when connected: on

then under all that it syas media card cannot be read. verify that he memory card is formatted.


so i dont know what to do

oh so when i dissabled media card suport and then turned it back on it said the following
"A media card has been inserted that contains errors. to correct the errors please use a disk error cheecking utility on a computer"
What does that mean?

under options, go to mediacard and sure that it is recognized

My sister just bought a new micro sd for her blackberry pearl but when we use the media manager it does not recognize that she has the new added memory. Is there something i have to turn on so that she can use this?
