    yea too late my dumb@ss bought it. And yea its reported stolen. Its workin fine but i would liek to insure it. Will they ask for that #. A friend of mine bought a phone in a similar manner and insured and said the ins company didnt ask for the #. Doesnt seem right though. any thoughts?

    fyi, if you're buying a phone that you suspect is stolen, get the imie# from the seller, and run it past your provider to see that it is not stolen before you buy. if it's reported stolen, you may be out of luck.

    Bought this phone off ebay and think its either lost or stolen. Stupid me. I want to put ins on it. Will they ask for that # when trying toi insure it. Also im signed up on nextels service plan so if i take it in for sevice will they see that # and blackflag my account?
